We have multiple depots in most major capitals. Depots are dependant on where the caravan is going to and from, type of transport, etc. Depot addresses will be emailed out to you on your booking confirmation email. Booking confirmations are emailed out once your booking has been confirmed. If you need to know the location prior to booking, we suggest that you give us a call and we can advise you of the suburb the depot is located in.
We have flexible scheduling to suit the requirements of our customers, however carriers are not always available everyday in some areas e.g. regional. Depot drop offs are always the most convenient and cost effective options.

Please note that Amex payments will incur an additional surcharge. All quoted prices include GST and all other charges (apart from the American Express surcharge)
Our contract carriers use modern vehicle carriers via road and also sea services. Methods of transport are determined by the individual contracted carrier. Most carriers use open transporters but fully enclosed transport can be arranged at an additional cost. This enclosed service is only available to and from major capital centres. If you prefer a fully enclosed quote please contact us and we can provide you with a price.
We can take bookings 1-2 business days prior to a depot drop off or up to 4 weeks in advance from your nominated/available from date.
If booking for a door collection, it generally takes 2-3 business days for a door collection (after confirmation) to occur. Please be aware that it takes longer to schedule trucks out to rural/frieght dependant areas, as it depends on the availability of the trucks at the time.
Unfortunately, the depots are only open Monday to Friday. They are closed on weekends and public holidays.
Yes, caravans are held for a maximum of 3 days. Storage fees may apply unless prior arrangement has been made with us.
We need at least 1 business days’ notice (after payment) prior to you dropping your caravan off at the depot. Please note, if you book over the weekend, your booking will not be processed until Monday. Once your booking has been confirmed, you are then able to drop off at the depot. Your booking confirmation will provide you with the drop off and/or collection information of the depot.
We will generally perform metro collections within 2-3 business days after your booking has been confirmed. If your caravan needs to be collected from an area outside metro (from a country/rural area), it may take a little longer to schedule a truck to come out to the address as it will depend on the availability of the trucks. Please note that this may differ during peak periods so if you would like to know exactly when your caravan will be collected it's best to check with us.
Yes.
Someone needs to be at the collection address, as they need to sign off on the condition report and hand over the keys to the caravan.
Someone needs to be at the delivery address, as they need to sign off on the condition report and receive the keys to the caravan.
If no one is at the address when the driver arrives, futile fees may apply.
Yes we can transport damaged caraves, but please explain the damage on the Quote Request form so we can ensyure you are quoted accurately.
No, registration is not required as trade plates cover this. We do however require all caravans booked must be of a solid construction and in a completely intact condition to ensure they travel without damage being caused.
Delivery is dependant on the locations for both pickup and delivery. We try as best as we can to provide estimated transit times (always quoted in business days) however please note that Caravan Logistics does not guarantee delivery times or promises made by their contracted carrier companies. Caravan transit times are provided by the individual contracted carriers and are estimates only. Transit times may vary due to peak periods, acts of nature and backlogs etc. Please do not plan holidays, trips and meetings using estimated transit times.

Yes we can. We will need to know the overall dimensions (Length, Width, Height and Weight) and value. In some cases, we will require photos to be able to provide you with a quote. Please ensure that the dimensions you provide are from furthest point to furthest point. This includes, draw bars, hitch, mirrors, etc.
Also, please be aware that you will need to specify if your car, boat, trailer, camper trailer, etc will have items in it, as this will effect your quote.
Most of our contract carriers cover your caravan with a basic transit warranty from pick up to delivery. Caravan Logistics is not liable for any loss or damage to caravans, their equipment or contents during transit, as the warranty is provided by the contracted carrier. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the warranty cover, please contact the carrier/s directly for their full Terms and Conditions.
We reccomend that you have your own insurance in place and inform your insurer of your intention to transport.
